Remember the America you grew up in? The land of the free and the home of the brave. We shall not be bullied. We have valiant leaders like Sen. Mark Kelly. We have neighbors who know right from wrong.
My mother was an Italian immigrant who never attended high school in the U.S. Her sons earned graduate degrees. My dad earned the bronze star as a combat medic in WWII. My parents’ gravestone reads “They Raised Us Right.” Our current president a convicted felon whose father had a reputation for cheating his tenants and business partners. It’s time to stand up.
Resist bigotry, racism, sexism and selfishness. Remember we are all in this together. Follow your heart, lead with decency and stay strong. Challenge to be patriotic and humane.
